A powerful moment at the starting line - hundreds united in motion, running for freedom and hope.
Beauty in Motion for a Cause
Giovanni proudly joined hundreds of runners, walkers, and community advocates at Bonelli Regional Park for the EDEN 5K/10K Run for Freedom, marking the first of what will become an annual event dedicated to raising awareness and funds in the fight against human trafficking.
More than a race, the Run for Freedom was a movement - a morning filled with purpose, hope, and solidarity. Participants laced up to “break some chains,” supporting EDEN’s mission to empower survivors and fund frontline organizations working to end trafficking around the world. Giovanni was honored to be part of this inspiring effort, bringing our commitment to wellness, empowerment, and community to the lakeside event.
A Morning of Energy and Impact
As the sun rose over Puddingstone Lake, volunteers and vendors began setting up for a full day of movement and motivation. By 7 a.m., Bonelli Park was alive with runners checking in, warming up, and visiting the Vendor Expo - where Giovanni shared samples of celebrity stylist favorites.
Music, movement, and motivation! DJ Street Fox and warm-up leader Jackie of Jacked Gym got runners pumped and ready to lace up for freedom.
The morning kicked off with heartfelt speaker presentations and a high-energy warm-up session that set the tone for the day. Runners then took to the scenic 5K and 10K courses, winding through tree-lined paths and lakeside roads surrounded by mountain views. Every step symbolized progress - not just toward the finish line, but toward freedom and healing for those impacted by trafficking.
Who is EDEN?
EDEN was founded in 2018 by Leslie and Juan Garcia and Brandon and Nicole Far, four friends whose lives changed during a service trip to Thailand. Witnessing firsthand the scale of human trafficking, they saw the urgent need to relieve nonprofit leaders from the unending challenge of raising funds - so they could focus on rescuing and restoring lives.
Using their background in real estate investment, the founders created EDEN to generate residual income that sustains anti-trafficking organizations through rental properties - turning everyday living into an engine for global change.
Words from the Heart
"Every person who showed up today is part of a growing movement to restore freedom and dignity to survivors. Together, we’re proving that compassion in action changes lives." shared Brandon Far, EDEN Co-Founder.
This message resonated throughout the park, reminding participants that every mile and every moment contributed to a greater purpose - hope, awareness, and empowerment.
Running Toward Hope
Together, participants and sponsors aimed to raise $25,000 to directly benefit anti-trafficking programs and survivor support initiatives, proof that when a community moves with purpose, change happens.

"Event sponsors alongside title sponsor Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty included Home Depot, Costco, and Raising Cane’s, whose contributions helped bring the event to life. We also extend heartfelt thanks to Homes of Promise, Clean Cause, Kize, LA Libations, Redhead Home Properties, Redmond, Orgain, and many other partners who share our mission of hope and restoration." shared Nicole Far, EDEN Co-Founder. "The energy at the event was unmatched, with music by DJ Street Fox and a motivating pre-run warm-up led by Coach Jackie of Jacked Gym - setting the tone for an unforgettable morning of movement, community, and purpose.
