I heard about Giovanni from a YouTube influencer. She talked about protein/moisture balance, and how her hair LOVES the Smooth as Silk Giovanni products. I’m new to treating my hair (I normally buy the $2 Suave naturals, MAYBE some Garnier Fructis leave-in, and I’m good to go, lol, but I’d wisened up and bought some sulfate/silicone free products that I’ve been using [thanks YT]). I’ve never dyed my hair and have only used heat on it a handful of times in my life, though, so I was skeptical about whether my hair would like it or not, but that lady has some GORGEOUS, frizz-free hair, so I decided to try it, because all my products were moisturizing and my hair was STILL frizzy, so I thought it was worth a try! The Smooth as Silk DC was sold out, sadly (though that’s a good problem for Giovanni to have, and very telling about the product), so I went for the Reconstructor DC, and the 50/50 clarifying shampoo. I was a little nervous, being so new to everything hair related and doing a protein hair treatment *gasp* for the first time, but I used it today and my hair just soaked it right up! Barely any frizz!! (Did I mention that my hair is thick, wavy/curly, frizzy, and down to my calves/ankles? This mop is a CHORE, lol!!) Anyway, I think I’ve found myself a favorite product, AND the line is a whole lot cheaper than other brands, so it’s more affordable for poor people like me, ha. That makes it a five stars from me! 😉 Thanks, Giovanni!
